Mala necklace is a sacred string of prayer beads traditionally used in meditation, yoga, and spiritual practices to count mantras, prayers, or breaths. While deeply rooted in Buddhism and Hinduism, they are widely worn today as a mindful reminder of intentions.

It typically features 108 counting beads, a larger guru bead, and a tassel.

This mala is made with Brahma Granthi knot which is a specific traditional knot tied between each individual bead to secure them without glue or tools. This provides structural strength and keeps the beads from rubbing together. To add a modern twist to a traditional mala, I intentionally chose colors of the places/ nature that bring me joy therefore each mala necklace has its own name that goes with the inspiration and they are;

Aster & Goldenrod (Gemstones: Natural Yellow Lemon Jade)
Crepe Myrtle (Gemstones: Pink Rose Quartz)
Desert Sunset (Gemstones: Natural Yellow Jade)
Eastern Bluebird (Glass beads: Dark Blue)
Island Sunset (Gemstones: Light Blue Aquamarine)
Lavender Fields (Glass beads: Light Blue)
Lotus Garden (Gemstones: Natural African Matcha Green Jasper)
Morning Trail (Glass beads: Mint Green)
Southern Magnolia (Glass beads: Mint Green)
Tropical Island (Gemstones: Cream Blue Turquoise)
